I believe that there is a certain hidden pattern in our world that connects all things with each other, and I have noticed that these patterns keep recurring to me in my life. These patterns come to me in different forms, such as lines, circles, cracks and symmetries but translated to real world surfaces and objects. I’m bringing these patterns together by sequencing and ordering them in my practice, and by doing that I aim to make them more visible. These interests are being catalyzed by my fascination with form and texture, and these elements are often what is left visible when the work is finished.

Through my work, I reflect on the world we live in and the actions we take within it. My goal is to create a deeper sense of awareness and appreciation—by holding up a mirror to our surroundings, our presence, and the inevitable traces we leave behind.
